Adult Learners’ Week Flash Mob

Dancing in libraries! Is that even allowed?

As we wrap up Adult Learners’ Week and warm up for Make a Noise in Libraries Fortnight the answer appears to be a resounding yes.

Libraries aren’t the hushed environments they used to be, but increasingly are places where people come together to learn, socialise and enjoy themselves. People learn how to get online (or even get in a book) and connect to a wider world.

We aim for our libraries to be hubs in the community. Places where people connect to each other. That’s our quiet revolution.

And a revolution without dancing…
