Are you interested in local history? Fascinated by historical collections and the stories they reveal? Want to learn about Hove during WW1?

Hove Library is hosting the event ‘Discover the WW1 resources held at Hove Library‘ this Saturday, 27th, September, 2014 at 11:00 am.

We invite you to explore our First World War Special Collections and resources with Rare Books Librarian, Margaret Curson.

Local History

Collections will include:

  • The Hove Roll of Honour – Service Records and Photographs
  • Newspaper Cuttings and Microfilm
  • Rare Books, Scrapbooks and Local Street Directories
  • Local History Photographs
  • How to use online Family History Resources, such as ‘Ancestry‘ and ‘Find my Past

The session is free to attend and will run from 11 am-12 pm.
